El 787 en servicio/The new 787 in service

Lo último de Boeing, el 787 (Dreamliner), entró en servicio a través de la aerolínea All Nippon Airways (ANA) el 26 de septiembre de 2008. El primer pedido fue de la misma aerolínea. Este pedido consiste en 50 unidades del tipo de avión. Ya poseen siete unidades. Otras aerolíneas también poseen alguna que otra unidad y muchas, ya han realizado pedidos.

Entre ellas se encuentran: 

- Avianca (12 pedidos)

- Aeromexico (7 pedidos)

- LAN Chile (32 pedidos)

- Air Europa (8 pedidos)

- Qatar Airways (60 pedidos-3 entregas)

- Japan Airlines (35 pedidos-2 entregas)

- Air India (40 pedidos-1 entrega)

En total, la compañia Boeing ha recibido 859 pedidos del Dreamliner, y tan sólo 15 de ellos han sido entregados.
